Holgate is primarily a brewery, but they also make some fine meals that either utilise their beer as an ingredient or as the perfect liquid accompaniment. There's a level of sophistication to this restaurant and its innovative modern menu, and it shouldn't be mistaken for standard pub grub. Although the Brewhouse is geared towards appreciative consumers of fine ales, there's also a small but perfectly formed wine list featuring local wines from the Macedon Ranges.
