Once part of the Menya noodle house chains, and known as the Lobster Cave before that, this refined Japanese diner may just have hit the nail on the head with its current moniker.
The aptly titled Hokkaido specialises in traditional Japanese cuisine, from sushi and sashimi to bento boxes and udon noodles. A shared sushi plate between friends is a great way to start a meal here but you might find yourself feeling a bit more selfish when the mains hit the table. Grab one of the dozen ramen on offer and fend off wandering chopsticks as you chow into some fantastic noodles.
