You don't have to mosey on in here with a bow-legged stride and a tip of your Akubra, but no-one will think it out of place if you do. The Hog's Breath Cafes have a reputation for a beef-eating, beer-drinking style that's more Wild West than posh gourmet. If you're looking for a massive meal of steak or a hefty burger, you've come to the right place. The house specialty is the prime rib steaks, which come seasoned with such flavours as hickory smoked barbecue sauce, mild Cajun spices or, for heavyweights, a spicy Mexican-style version with jalapenos.

Solidly good food - but that's all
Menu is good, food is good and portions are good. Very group and family-oriented, so it's basic comforts, noisy, no trimmings and pretty much as you'd expect. Service is odd - we were moved twice for no apparent reason - and a bit slow. Drinks were offered at every opportunity, so maybe this is the reason.
