Hilltop

Hilltop was the first of the three Phoenix restaurants opened and run by sisters Anita Yeun and Alice Lee. Perched a floor above the Piazza, it's one of the bigger Asian restaurants in the area. The crowd usually packs in for Sunday yum cha, with the queue typically running back into the shopping centre. Choose your seafood direct from the tank or go for one of the banquets, ranging from $28-$46 per head.

Good
It's better than the average yum cha place as I find the portions bigger than other places!

Monori
One of the best yum cha places we ever visited. We have been coming here for many years and always on Sundays. It is understandable that Sunday is a very busy day, however we have been always treated with utmost curtesy. We found the food tasty and well prepared. We are in our late eighties I myself have difficulty with walking therefore quite often they took us out of the queue realising our problem. Anyhow the Chinese people are famous for respecting the elderly. We are delighted with the service and food we are getting at the Hilltop and will be returning.

Very bad service
Very bad service, tried rushing us through dinner and the waitress spilt red wine all over my new outfit with no apologies. Won't be going back there in a rush.

The worst customer service I have ever seen
I wish I can tell you how good or bad the food is, but too bad I never got that far. The person in charge of assigning seats decided to skip me in the queue simply because my friend was still parking the car. He refused to give me a table, and when I commented on his behaviour, he said he was rich and therefore didn't need our business, and tried to kick me out of the restaurant. In doing that he added that I should not think the customer is not always right. I am a frequent yum cha goer, and been to many restaurants all over Sydney, and I have never been treated like this. Seriously, the people over there have the wrong attitude, when there are so many other restaurants around, why do we bother to give them business when they don't even want it?

Good Yum Cha
Busy place especially at lunch time. Yum cha a favourite. Service is typical of most Chinese restaurants but the food makes up for it.
