Highway fun
I enjoyed this place, good USA based food, burgers etc. Cool memorabilia, nice old bikes and a few turned up on the day too and some hot rods. Opposite the Harley shop! Ok range of bottled beer too. Cheers. Joe

HWY 31- great casual place
I hate going to stuffy, stuck up resturants where the table staff think they are better than you??? At Highway 31, I feel relaxed and can put my feet up on a lazy Sunday arvo and choose between an expresso or bourbon depending on the mood. Meals are of great value i would have thought, but the atmosphere is sensational.
As a fellow hotrodder / MC rider I cannot argue that this place is great to go out for a ride and meet up with friends, stand out front and admire the 2 - 4 wheel show pieces that are normally out the fron or passing by.
Dont be intimidated by any rough looking bikers hanging out the front as they are all there to relax and enjoy the atmosphere with you.
I take the family down for hamburgers and hot chocolates on the winter days when it is too cold to take the bike out and they love the place too. All walks of life seem to gather at Highway 31 and i would suggest to anyone to try it out.

Diner
I've walked past this place so many times but never even looked in because I've always been too intimidated by all the scary looking bikeys that hang out there, that I usually try to walk past as quickly as possible. It wasn't til I came across the profile on this website that I realised how cool it is inside.
So I decided to check it out for dinner one night.
We had burgers, which range in price from $8.50-$14.
For that price, you'd expect to get something pretty decent, but I was a bit disappointed with the chili chicken burger that I ordered. Chicken in a bun isn't my idea of a burger, even if it does have fries and a couple of pieces of tomato on the side. My definition of a burger is onion, lettuce, tomato, cheese, meat and bun.
So although the food wasn't great, the interior design is cool and retro, with even some live country music while we were there.

Go for the experience, but maybe just get a drink, and have dinner somewhere else.
