For something more upmarket at the Hellenic Club of Canberra, Hellenic Trattoria is a good option if you're ready to dive into a Mediterranean sea of flavour. With stylish booths and group tables, this eatery goes beyond the Hellenic Club's Greek theme, offering a modern Italian-style diner. The impressive menu covers a range of quality pasta, risotto, seafood, chicken, veal and salad creations, such as the carpaccio, the marinated spatchcock, and the grilled fresh Atlantic salmon wrapped in shaved prosciutto. The seasonal specials are also worth keeping an eagle eye out for.

What a pleasent suprise
My husband and I went there for dinner not so long ago for something a bit more upmarket to the bistro. We were both so impressed with our meals, the Spinach and ricotta lasange was yum, I loved the crunchy bits of cheese along one side of the dish. My husband order the lamb shoulder, and the meat literally melted in your mouth, and both serves were very generous. The generous size and uneven shape of the sticky date pudding and Tiramisu indicated that the desserts were made on the premises, not bought from a factory. We would definatley go back again.
