We can thank the ancient Greeks for a lot of great things: the Olympics, toga parties and, of course, delicious Greek food. The Argo Hellenic aims to offer the latter with a friendly smile and loads of flavour. The menu predominantly features seafood, with some of South Australia's best oceanic produce getting a simple drizzle of olive oil, lemon and fresh herbs - such simple treatment is sure to let the true flavours do the talking. The cardinal dish here, however, is a braised baby goat in lemon olive oil and oregano; deliciously wholesome in its simplicity.

Our new favourite restaurant
I've heard that this restaurant is an institution so when i looked on this site to read about it I was stumped to see no reviews on it yet.
We went for dinner there with another couple and it was a good thing we booked or we would not have gotten in. They allow BYO which is always a plus for us and they served in abundance, the most delicious greek buffet we have ever enjoyed!
Aside from being the best restaurant of any kind in the west, the service was also outstanding. The owners are the ones serving and even getting the door. They were just so wonderful.
They also do takeaways and breakfasts. We will now be regulars here, i highly recommend it!
