Masterfully converted from a majestic heritage-listed old church, Helios Hellenic Cuisine boasts a truly unique locale that mixes old-fashioned rustic charm with chic modern dining sensibilities. The main dining room is all white tablecloths, high ceilings and classic images of Greece, while the orange-backlit bar tells a more contemporary story with a wood and marble finish, and a long lounge lining the wall. The food is served as communal-style mezedes, where you pick and choose tapas ranging from dips and saganaki to sticky lamb ribs, stuffed mussels and beyond.

Hellenic Heaven
Arrived to have dinner with a group of friends - without a booking! We know next time to make the booking!! We were seated shortly after arriving - was ok with me - we just started on drinks in their beautiful bar - open fire place - fun staff - good begining to our night. We were seated and the menu was explained to us - tapas with a new "winter menu" mains have now been included. We went with a banquet - much easier and so much food! The wine list was great - even tasted a couple of wines before deciding on a recommended cab sav. The food was amazing - the dips you can not fault - the lamb an dchicken skewers were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is second to none in this place. Beutifully decorated - warm and friendly. We will be back - I've just booked my birthday!
