In the noir classic The Third Man, Harry Lime was a character notorious for his attention to detail. In Ballarat, Harry Limes the restaurant follows its namesake by offering lovingly prepared food in a casual, elegant environment. Jack and Helen McMahon believe in simple measures for their authentic dishes, such as only using two ingredients for their traditionally cooked risotto, or importing their Grana Padano cheese directly from Italy to top their pasta.

Harry Limes Review
What a lovely intimate atmosphere. The menu just big enough to choose without being too extensive. The food fresh, vegies served just perfect and meat succulent and cooked exactly to your liking. A husband and wife-run establishment with great service. Will be back often.
