Having catered to members of the Indian, Sri Lankan and Australian cricket teams, chef Halim Habib has earned his innings by cooking up authentic Indian cuisine at his popular eatery, Halim's Indian Taj Restaurant. Situated in Rosalie Village, this local favourite is a place to take family or friends for a feast of flavours ranging from Madras to rogan josh to biryani and beyond. The lunch specials and dinner banquets provide value-for-money feasts for the senses.

Cheap and cheerful
Great atmosphere and yummy curries. The naan breads are the best i have ever eaten. So light and fluffy! The biryani was huge! Definitely should be shared. Great to eat in or get takeaway from.
