Originally opened in the 1960s, Half Moon has undergone a 12-month refurbishment and sleek rejuvenation that will make you see stars. Part of a growing brood of gastro-pubs whose names suggest shabbier premises and more modest menus than the places actually present, Half Moon serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The seasonal menu focuses on classic flavour combinations and the low-impact prices enable customers to continue enjoying the extensive and impressive wine and beer list long into the night. Intriguingly, the drinking and dining areas span two levels, creating a very atmospheric setting indeed.
