Gypsy Road Tapas Bar & Lounge

Point Cook had been crying out for a place like this, and it looks like the locals got their wish and are not letting it go for all the tea in China. As a result, it's an understandably buzzing spot, though never offensively busy, and always offering a relaxed enough vibe to while away a whole afternoon or evening. The cool space is sophisticated and the tapas menu the perfect accompaniment to a bottle of wine or two. All advice says not to miss this place on a Sunday, when the live music gets going, the vibe is buzzing but chilled, and the spot right next to the open fire is calling you.

A shining gem in the area!
Myself and the other half have been here a couple of times since its opening. The food is always fantastic, its actually a notch above the rest, their tapas is unique and interesting and their mains (I had the Crispy Skin Pork Belly, my boyfriend the porterhouse steak with seafood and garlic sauce).

The service is very good and the staff do their best, although at the busiest times it does get very busy.

We start off in front of the fire place, have a glass of wine, eat and then move to the bar and have a glass of wine. Its actually a very funky and sophisticated atmosphere where you can relax and listen to live music and have a drink or meet up with friends at the bar.

We will definitely be going back regularly even though my partner wants to drink at a mates place, I will go with my girlfriends for a cocktail ;)
