Loved it, want to come back again
This is a restaurant that you should go again & again. I went there on the 31st of January 2010, with my fellow members of the UWA IEEE Student Branch. The waitresses were quite friendly and they automatically come to us, when we want their attention. The food was brilliant, me and my fellow committee members loved the food. All of us enjoyed there pizzas, pastas, salads, chicken dishes, etc. They have a wide variety which must be prerequisites for restaurants for public attention. The minor -ves are, the prices are a little high and the waiting time is somehow a little too long But if you are going as a one off like every 2 months or so, it's a must go place. I purely recommend it! Very Friendly staff

Disappointed..
After hearing such great reviews about this place I went with a group of friends to eat here at the resturant. I had the reef and beef (or surf and turf.. whatever it's called) I asked for medium well done and it came out rare. The mash was salty and the antipasto dish wasn't that great. The rest of the food was great especially the fettucine dish with prawns and asparagus.
But the waiter walked past us several times and ignored us every time we tried to get his attention. There was a waiting period of over an hour between the courses.

Our Favourite Place
My husband and I are regulars to Gucce. We dine at least two times a week and takeaway there also. The owner/chef, Dom, is an extremely talented chef, the menu is very extensive offering so many delicious meals to choose from and we love the staff. Highly recommended for a quick meal or full three-course dinner. Big serves and top quality. Our favourite Italian restuarant.

Almost Perfect
Seeing this place almost daily at our local shops but never having been inside we decided to pop in for a Sunday dinner. Sure glad we did. The seafood tasting plate for an entree was amazing mix of flavours and textures and just enough for two with a panini - the squid was just exceptional. The mains of rib eye and mushroom, truffle oil and chilli pasta were well sized and great value. My steak was cook exactly as ordered a well-aged piece of meat and it was huge. The pasta had mushies glore and a nice hint of spice in a velvety smooth sauce. Partner was in raptures over the profiteroles but the size of the steak meant that I couldn't fit a dessert in.
Service was efficient and unobtrusive. Not a quiet place and that was expected. We were offered a table in the quieter front section but choose the back.
A couple of beers and a bottle of wine brought the bill up to $130.00. You won't be disappointed here.
