Famous in these parts if only because everyone's driven past it and noticed the sign, this brewery restaurant is an Adelaide Hills icon, and one of those things you must try once. But as we all know, once is never enough for the good things in life, and so it is with Grumpy's and their woodfired gourmet pizzas, like the signature Grumpy Goat (not actual goat, but a tantalising combination of pumpkin, capsicum, olives, spinach and Spanish onion topped with goat's curd and spring onion) and Moby Dick (marinated Gulf prawns and calamari with garlic and spinach with Adelaide Hills lemon myrtle). With too many more offerings like these, including the interestingly named Zorba the Sheep, Italian Job and the Shroom, the locals and day-trippers have found one or two return visits necessary.

Delicous Gourmet Pizzas
I heard that Grumpys have really good pizzas and have been meaning to try them out and am so glad that we did. I was so suprised the pizzas were gourmet and so delicous, better than we expected. The spicy chicken and italian job was mouthwatering. The ingredients are chunky and so fresh. Pizzas have great toppings and amazing flavour. I will definately be going back, best pizza I have had in a while. Highly recommend. YUM
