The woodfired pizza oven occupying the middle of the room sets the scene for this cosy addition of the Groove Train chain, which, with five venues in Melbourne, has only recently expanded to incorporate this Brisbane locale. Dotted with comfy sofas and a range of old video games doubling as tables, this is a chilled-out location to unwind with friends, eat a pizza and sink a few beers.

Very disappointed
We had a table of 7 people, and all of us left very unimpressed. Firstly it took forever to place an order, then a long time to receive drinks. The starters were very good, tasty and a nice size. However, even though we ordered all the mains together, only 4 arrived to the table. When we asked where they were, it was obvious that they had not been cooked. The manager was helpful and offered to cook them immediately, but this was of no use as everyone else had already finished. We did receive 2 complimentary bottles of wine which was ok. The mains were all quite ordinary, my steak very tough and overcooked. The only good thing on the night for Groove Train was the location, so we won't be returning.

Good food, service and atmosphere - well worth a visit.
The service was prompt and given with a legitimate smile. Our dinners were tasty and presented well. All mains were huge and approximately $20-$25 which was very reasonable. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and there are views of the river. We will definitely be back.

dissapointing
The service was appauling from start to finish: double booked our table, took an hour for the mains to arrive, about that time again to get dessert and then gave us the wrong bill. The resuraunt was very loud, making it hard to talk to anyone across the table. On the upside food was alright and the location, right on the river, was quite nice. Probably won't go back.

Good service, lack of flavour, noisy, easy access, riverviews
Breads, dips and garnish nice in flavour and presentation. Pizza: Looks good, nicely looking blistered crust but no crunch, too much and too rich cheese, soggy center, seafood topping bland, no flavour differentiation, as if it came out of same brine jar, mussels in shell mummified and shells brittle, cracking when handled. Not worth the AU$ 23.90 Pasta dishes looked unattractive, thick Spaghetti. Won't return.
