The name, as more astute people may have already picked up on, is a bit of a misnomer. The Greengrocer Cafe is, in fact, housed snugly in a bicycle shop. Of course.
At first the idea of having a cafe in a cycling retail outlet may seen bizarre, but there's no doubting its success. Taking the craze of "fixie" bikes and coffee culture to the next level (the two terms are virtually synonymous in certain circles), the Greengrocer also serves up traditional woodfired pizzas, aptly named after famous cycling brands. Flavours range from the simple GT (ham and pineapple) to the decadent Orbea (oven-smoked chicken, pesto, pine nuts, asparagus, fresh tomato, bocconcini and mozzarella).
