Set up within the complex that previously housed Adelaide's historic incinerator (now thankfully defunct), Greek on Halifax is clearly signposted by the 35-metre incinerator chimney. Warm and homely, the walls are adorned with family photos and images of Greece, creating an authentic and welcoming ambience without the ubiquitous blue and white. Grab a table on the pavement or in one of the cosy rooms and peruse a menu that, while full of traditional dishes, still has the capacity to surprise. The meat and seafood platters are designed for two, but come out heaving with produce. If dining alone (or not willing to share), try the tender goat, braised in a tomato and red wine sauce.

A Little Gem!
Have been here many times now and the food is amazing! From the starters to the desserts, we have always had amazing food. The staff are friendly and helpful and always seem to remember us. Booking ahead is definately a must as the place is regularly full to bursting! Can't wait to go back soon!
