Greco's on Broadway

Greco's house-made pastas and sauces are just like mama used to make, but with a modern twist. They've adapted original Mediterranean recipes and thrown in a few Aussie influences to create their own unique brand of European fusion fare, such as the Portugese clam spaghetti or the prime beef fillet and wildberry gratin with cointreau citrus sauce. Just like mama's cooking, it's loved by all the family. In fact, Greco's has long been considered a part of the Nedlands community. Its casual, inviting atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a friendly get-together. Choose from the main dining area with its open kitchen, the courtyard areas with cushioned benches and pot-bellied stoves, or for a more intimate gathering, there's the cosy Red Room seating up to 12 people. You'll be treated to live music from the soothing Cory Sea if you dine on a Friday evening. On the third Thursday of each month, you're invited to join the Wine Club at Greco's to sample some lesser-known treasures of the local wine industry under the expert guidance of John Burke. The $20 fee per person includes tasty tapas created in Greco's kitchen to complement the boutique wines.

Satisfied.
We have been to Greco's on a few occasions now whether with friends, family or just ourselves and i must say, we are always well looked after and never disappointed with the food and service. Ambiance can be a bit of hit and miss but we always have a good time.
The food is always up to standards and consistent although the menu does change from time to time, this is a good thing. It's good to keep it fresh every now and then. My favorite is the Marisco Spaghetti and i hope they will always have this on the menu. And the desserts are amazing too as they are all homemade! Its hard to find that these days.
Service is always good. Polite and tentative staff and always have a smile on their faces.
Overall, we will keep on coming back to Greco's with friends and family. Good job Greco's!

Grecos. amazing
In response to terryforb, 30 Aug. I must say you are wrong. My experiences at Greco's have always been consistently fantastic. The service is friendly, efficient with a sense of urgency , and even on a busy night, perfectly nice and helpful given the pressure. The food was delicious and most definitely not overrated. The signature spaghetti dish was amazing, my entree of chicken livers and mini loaf was simply divine. The dessert; mixed berry gratin was a drop if heaven and i earnestly encourage everyone to try it at least twice in their lifetime! This is definitely a wonderful place for a date/night out/family dinner for everyone.

Slightly Overrated
My experience at Greco's wasn't fantastic. I found it to be quite overrated , expensive and pretentious. My risotto was very salty and all in all , just wasnt what I was hungry for. The atomosphere was nice, I will grant it that, with nice lighting etc. However , service was quite poor. I have heard it can be a good place for a night out , maybe that night was just an off night .. but it certainly wasnt anything special and I would not recommend it personally.

Great night out at Greco's
I had the best chicken dish I've ever had at Greco's! It was an entree and I wished I'd ordered it for my main. In saying that my sirloin was cooked to perfection so I was a winner again anyway!

The service on this busy Saturday night was excellent. The staff really cared about us and helped us match our wine with our food.

We were a group of 6 and it was the right place for us to catch up for a great night out with friends but I'll be going back with just my husband for a romantic night out soon.

Greco's on Broadway
Having lived near Greco's and witnessed its changes over the years, I was moved to write this review after two recent lovely (and different!) experiences.

Towards the end of last year my family celebrated a milestone birthday for my mother at Greco's. We chose a set menu which had ample delicious options and gave us the opportunity to bring our own special bottles of wine. This was great value for money for a large group. The food and service was of a high standard and the atmosphere in the outdoor area very festive. Some of our guests are still talking about their meals months later!

I have since returned for a more intimate dinner for two. We were again seated in the courtyard area, tucked away among the grapevines - it was quite private. The food was much more interesting and tasty than your average Italian/cafe style. As a vegetarian I found many options on the menu. The service was excellent - a minor mix-up with our coffees was smoothed over with grace!
We will definitely return and recommend Greco's for either of these type of events!
