This popular Italian restaurant has a varied menu with lots of choice. The servings are on the large side and there is a decent selection of wine and beers with which to complement your meal.

The cheese calzone was very nice as a starter although a little doughy. My wife had the sandcrab lasagna which was very nice as well and a good portion. I had the wood fired pizza which was really good as well. All in all the food and the resturant are great and the staff lovely. However, they have a wine called Bowlers Run. This is a wine for lying down and avoiding.

OK
My workmates asked me to let them know how it was and I'll have to say that the OK food, in my opinion, is overpriced.

As we live in the area, we regularly went to this establishment since 2004, frequenting the restaurant on average at least once a month. We have upon our last three visits (since Jan 08) found the standard of food declining at each visit.
These days it appears that frozen meals, reheated are the order of the day. The crab lasagne was so watery from defrosting and then not even warm in the centre.
When on the third occasion we finally complained the owner just shrugged his shoulders.
We decided to vote with our feet and have not visited again.

Okay
This place is a nice relaxed place to go to for dinner. The food is good but I wouldn't say overly wonderful. I had scallops and wasn't really that impressed with the price or the scallops. No really outstanding flavour here. I also had the sand crab lasagne. Good meal for a good price. Wasn't overly creamy so a main size was easy to eat. My husband got a seafood plate with a fairly strong sauce. I thought it was disgusting but he said he liked it. I think this is an average restaurant. You'll get a friendly atmosphere and nice dinner for a good price.
