If sangria, chorizo and jamon serrano are a few of your favourite things, Granada Cafe Tapas Bar is almost certain to flash brightly on your radar. Generating a good buzz among Hispanophiles (lovers of all things Spanish), Granada Cafe Tapas Bar is a strikingly authentic Spanish tapas bar that's just the kind of place trendy Brisbanites like to lap up.
Run by David Steeden, the former owner of Cantina and ex-sous chef of Beccofino, Granada traverses a range of Spanish and Mexican tastes. His menu is divided into tapas plates and raciones (larger share portions): the former featuring the likes of chicken and leek croquettes and chargrilled chorizo on white bean puree; the latter covering dishes such as shellfish stew and the aforementioned jamon serrano, to name but a few. A Spanish, Portuguese or Mexican drink at the bar should serve as a sensational finish.
