Huge Improvement
I had visited Grace before this and wasn't impressed, but my partner had urged me to give'm another go, because the staff and owner had been really nice... Am I glad we did! The true test to any breakfast is hollandaise and I tell you, it was amazing! I had it as an extra on a big brekkie which would have to be the biggest I've had. The service was good, they are pretty casual and friendly, and the place looks really good. Their makeover has really lifted the spirit here. Talked to the owner on the way out, she admitted to things having been a struggle but I guess that shows you the power of persistence! Good on you Grace Food and Wine, will definitely make you a regular on my list!

Very disappointed!
Had a great table at the back of the room - and plenty of room to move for 10 people. Half the people had OK food and the other half felt very disappointed and ripped-off. Breakfasts are not necessarily the easiest thing to manage, but if you can't get the poached egss right then it is a sure sign that things are not being managed well. Runny poached eggs should not have the consistency of golf balls. I should have sent them back - but there were 4 of us with the same complaint and in a large group I didn't want to make a scene. Also the extras or "sides" were a total rip-off - very small quantities.

Last night I had the pleasure of experiencing the delicious food and fantastic service that Grace Food and Wine provide. My partner and I both had the ($18!) rib eye steak, each served with chips, salad and a choice of either mushroom or pepper jus. While my nephew (aged 5) had fish niggets and chips.
It was such a pleasure to find that not only was the food great, but the service was spot on. It was so nice to be served by a someone who made you feel welcome and clearly knew what they were doing.Grace Food and Wine gives off a funky yet relaxed vibe, perfect for a relaxed meal, coffee, or even a glass (or 2) of wine with friends. Prices are very good and portions are huge. I will definitely be revisiting Grace Food and Wine again in the near future.
