While it could be easy to overlook in the long list of restaurants and bars that make up Martin Place's GPO, their self-titled Oyster Bar represents an exciting opportunity for Sydney diners. While other oyster options may rely too heavily on a waterside locale, GPO Oyster Bar rests its reputation squarely on the quality of the mollusc. Sydney Rock Oysters and Pacific Oysters are offered natural, with a tangy vinaigrette or a tasty Thai dipping sauce. The Sydney Rocks also come grilled as Kilpatrick or mornay options.
Fans of Mad Men will know that a meal of oysters is the only real choice for a successful business lunch, so move that meeting out of the boardroom and into the bar and get that deal closed.
