Most Impressive
Having been to Goodfellas over a number of years under different management, I can confidently say it is now at it's peak.
Our party of six was happily slotted in at late notice last Friday night. We ordered two serves of calamari, plus garlic bread, which easily kept us fed whilst perusing the (extensive) mains/pizza menu. The squid was cooked perfectly - so much so that we had felt necessary to complement the dish.
I had Saltimbocca chicken as a main, which was nicely put together, and definitely a full plate. Others enjoyed pizzas with no complaints.
The service was above average, very friendly. Service ratings on restaurants in areas with such a transient workforce are possibly misleading - but our visit was a happy one.
All in all, a satisfying enjoyable evening. Very affordable - will dine again!

Holiday disappointment
During the Easter long weekend I visited Goodfella's with my parents and girlfriend for dinner, hoping an enjoyable dining experience was at hand. Unfortunately we received below average meals. Rubbery calamari was unenjoyable, and the garlic prawns (not cleaned of their digestive tracts), accompanied by reheated rice which was dry and almost inedible. Another down side was the fact that the only seating we could get was on the outside balcony in the freezing cold with no heating system present.
