If popularity is anything to go by, this Strathfield institution must be amazing; the tables are full and the take-away queue is almost out the door. As with most Chinese eateries in this part of town, they seem to have Westernised classics dominating the menu and the more authentic traditional dishes hidden within the specials section.
A waiter is present from the outset, and drink, food and desert orders are taken in a prompt and professional fashion. The food arrives to the table in no time at all, looking visually amazing. The fried rice is scrumptious, with plump prawns, fresh green peas and no trace of the bitter aftertaste associated with MSG. The fried ice-cream is a must-have, a thing of absolute wonder yet to be equalled.

Asian excellence at Enfield
As a family we visited the Golden Coronet, which has been our favourite for takeaway for years, though we haven't dined in all that often. The food was delicious, with a special mention needed for the salt and pepper bean curd. The menu is varied and manages to provide ample choices for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. Service was efficient and prompt and the atmosphere is great for family occasions or for intimate meals. Heartily recommended to all.
