Most probably named after the golden sands and crystal-blue waters of the Dunsborough bay, this humble Chinese restaurant is just a couple of minutes' drive from the beautiful beachside. Seemingly secretive from the red-curtained outside windows, Golden Bay Chinese Restaurant blocks out the hustle and bustle of the next-door petrol station in its authentically decorated dining room. The menu is packed with Chinese and other Asian delicacies including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, noodle, omelette, rice, curry, noodle, soup and vegie dishes, along with the chef's specials, like the sweet chilli deep-fried squid and honey peppercorn fried spare ribs. The takeaway lunch specials offer good value for those dropping by to fill up more than just their petrol tanks.
