Situated in Springvale Shopping Centre, this spacious traditional yum cha dining room opened back in 1999, the first of the Gold Leaf Chinese Restaurant chain that has swept Melbourne. Offering daily yum cha and an extensive a la carte menu too, Gold Leaf is renowned for its huge dim sum selection and its live seafood, which includes fresh steamed or deep-fried barramundi. For game meat gourmands, there are some venison, crocodile, lamb, and even pigeon dishes to sink your teeth into with gusto.
