Housed in a stately 1920s building and surrounded by lush gardens, the location alone propels this restaurant to the upper echelons of Beaconsfield's dining scene.
The food, then, is simply the cherry on top - but what a cherry. The menu at Glendower changes almost constantly, depending on what is fresh from the markets rather than following the months of a calendar. Expect to see traditional dishes like hearty pot roast sitting alongside more contemporary fare like Moroccan lamb. Of course, no trip to Glendower would be complete without at least sampling the innovative creations conjured here from the humble potato.
