After 14 years playing professional rugby league, Ryan Girdler needed a career less taxing on his body. This breezy little cafe is the result.
Perched right on the Strand overlooking the crystal clear waters of Dee Why Beach, Girdler's Grind has fast become a local favourite, and not just for its celebrity owner. A short, sharp menu of cafe classics, some great French crepes and galettes (savoury crepes) and Ryan's very own blend of Belaroma coffee have made this place an out and out destination on its own.
