This large and modern barn is part of the Giant Steps and Innocent Bystander winery. While it offers the expected tastings and winery tours, this innovative venue also offers house-roasted coffee, beers, a bakery, a pizzeria and a cheese room, as well as a restaurant. There are a range of meals available for a short breakfast through to a lazy lunch. Look out for the house-made bircher muesli with organic yoghurt, antipasti served with homemade sourdough, or cinnamon-baked chicken with tomato, chorizo and couscous, baked in the woodfired oven. In the evenings, chef Jarrod Hudson takes control with themed dinner nights such as an 'all things duck and pinot' night or a Thai food night. This is a place with a strong sense of humour, so get in there and have a laugh as you enjoy the great wine and food.
