For its diminutive size (about 10 tables and a small bar) this latest addition to Kent Town's dining set scores big numbers with its traditional Italian fare.
Giallo calls itself a wine bar but the food being served here is much more than a few Mediterranean nibbles to quaff wine by. Bistro classics make up the majority of the menu, oscillating between French and Italian influences based on seasonality as much as the whims of the kitchen. Like all classic cuisines, Giallo is at its best when it plays to its strengths, in this case coupling authentic Mediterranean flavours with fresh local seafood.
