Sometimes the half price lunch isn't worth it!
I've been to George's in the city about 3 times now since it opened. Yes, the half price lunches are great value but if I had to pay full price for some meals I'd say that they are WAY overpriced. The service here is a bit hit & miss depending on which section you're in. Last time I was here, the place was very busy and we sat on the veranda. We had a very bad German waiter that had a hard time understanding anything we ordered and didn't know the menu very well which was frustrating. I ordered a glass of wine and he brought me the whole bottle and no glass ... Our meals and drinks took a considerably long time to arrive but I think this might have something to do with our waiter and not the actual restaurant. The time before though seated inside - the waiter, service and food was fantastic so can't fault it. Just a little disappointing when a restaurant is very hit and miss.
