Arguably Sydney's best gelataria, Gelato Messina has wowed everyone from inner-city hipsters to Darlinghurst yummy mummies with its array of inventive gelato flavours since its opening in 2002. Flavours change daily but may include sinfully rich offerings such as chocolate sorbet, lime cheesecake and an interesting coconut and pandan flavour.
There's espresso coffee and tea on offer as well. Those wanting to take away may do so, with an array of takeaway ice cream cakes and homemade tiramisu on offer. For the cheekiest among us, the sampling plate, with its five scoops of gelato, is sure to please.
