New Farm already has a diverse dining scene, so for restaurateurs, it's tough to differentiate yourself. That's not a problem for Fusion 54 - the menu has about as much diversity as a United Colours of Benetton commercial. The menu merges all ports of the generic 'Asian' category, from Thai to regional Chinese through into Vietnamese-influenced cuisine. The carte then takes a sharp left turn at desserts, where green tea gelato is an Italian match made in Japanese heaven, and a bread and butter brulee sees an English classic get a Frenchified twist.

Fantastic, will definately be going back
Myself and a rather rowdy bunch had dinner at Fusion 54 and it was great! We got a large number of share plates and each dish was absolutely wonderful. The wagyu beef definately a highlight and highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Best of all was the prices, such great value. Will be heading back soon.
