Great Food, Great Staff
Been going here for a number of years and through a few owners and staff members. The food and service are consistent and reliable. They take care with their produce and always provide a great dinning experience. Can't recommend highly enough.

Great family friendly restaurant
We have been here several times over the past few years. Even though it seems to have changed hands a couple of times, the food and service have always been first class. We have always found this restaurant to be very family friendly especially as we have a disabled child. The staff have been more than happy to accommodate us and his needs so much so that we are happy to travel all the way from the Upper North Shore!

Service was as cold as my scallops
I am so annoyed after having a $50+ meal here where the salad was stale and had oozy dressing all over it, my seafood pasta was sweet (like it had lots of sweet chili sauce in it or had added lots of sugar), and my scallops were cold. Service was as cold as my scallops! My 3 year old son had not been offered cutlery or an extra plate and I didn't get the feeling they were very child-friendly.
This is such a shame as I loved this place so much before. I still remember eating the best noodle dish with crispy soft shell crab. And there was a very friendly waiter who was always very welcoming and liked kids.

I've been here many times since moving to the area over a year ago. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me, the place has recently gone down hill. The food has become sloppy & tasteless. With so many other great places in Balmain, we won't be going back!

Second bad experience this month
Both breakfast meals were cold, coffees wrong and even after offering to take away the cost of the coffee we were over charged. It's a shame as this place did have great food, value and atmosphere.
