Located in Brisbane's trendy Barracks Complex, with its many varied dining options, it's only fair that this cafe-cum-bakery flies the tricolore with fantastic French flair. On offer here is a selection of classic Gallic sandwiches, such as a simple ham and salad baguette, a sandwich so simple, it's simply chic. Other bites on offer include an offering of caramelised onion, feta and rosemary on ciabatta, and there is also a selection of delicious pastries, from croissants to almond and pear tarts.

Great for pre/post dinner drinks and cheese...
We had wine and cheese here whilst we were waiting for a table at one of the other restaurants at The Barracks. We were very impressed.
We had a very tasty cheese plate with beautiful fresh bread and lovely crisp wine. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings as well. Beautifully quaint.

Great Little Cafe
We have been here a few times. There are other French Twists around as well but this is the quaintest. Lots of interesting spots to sit,& love some of the furniture. Great array of cakes, although pricey. Coffee is nice. Light meals available. Excellent little place to take visitors.
