Forget dragon heads popping out of the wall, or cheesy pan flute pop songs accompanying manic noises from the kitchen, this is a Chinese restaurant aiming to be uniquely modern and sophisticated in its appearance. The food follows this path with chef Tim Ha offering a contemporary take on the traditional Chinese and Cantonese cuisine specialising in roast duck, barbeque and roast pork. The famous Peking duck (which doesn't have to be pre-ordered like in many restaurants) is cut into long crispy strips and served with specially made pancakes as well as green onion and thinly sliced cucumber on the side. And when your waiter leans in and begins to fold your pancake around the duck and vegetables, don't be too surprised, it's good luck for him to prepare the first one.
