This is an affordable little treasure hidden away in a suburban shopping centre. With a slightly upmarket appeal, this restaurant uses seasonal vegetables in their dishes.

5 Star chinese - definitely worth a trip to the suburbs!
This place really is a gem. We just keep going back - the pepper steak hotpot, and the salt and pepper squid are hard to go past.
Its a little more expensive than other local Chinese places, but the food is more than a little better, its exceptional.
Candles on the tables are a nice touch, and the food is always quick, hot and uses great fresh ingredients.

Suburban Gem
I dined here with my partner one Friday night, and although the restaurant was less than half full, there was a constant stream of people through the door for takeaway. Not to say that dining in wasn't a good experience. On the contrary, the staff were genuinely polite and friendly, did not overcrowd us, or make us feel like we had to leave when we were finished eating.
The menu is affordable, and although slightly above the price for the average suburban restaurant, is so because the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. I had the curry hot pot, and my partner ordered a seafood dish. Both were delectable compositions of fresh vegetables, succulent meat, and just the right amount of herbs and spices. The portion was more than generous and we had enough left over to justify getting it doggy bagged (although I wouldn t waste such good fare on my dog).
The venue is family-friendly and caters for small or large groups but my advice is to try and get a group together so you can order and sample a variety of dishes (I heard the chilli prawns and steak are particularly good).
Don't let the location put you off. Otherwise you're missing out.
