This restaurant puts customer satisfaction back in focus. Expect a produce-driven seasonal menu of mod-Oz delights such as Moreton Bay bugs with angel-hair pasta; or spiced kangaroo carpaccio with honey-rosemary dressing and fried shallots. Taking inspiration from all corners of the globe, the burnt goat curry is an interesting take on East-meets-West, served on a bed of saffron (a very Indian accoutrement) pappardelle and accompanied by vanilla bean yoghurt. Those wanting to indulge their sweet tooth can content themselves with dishes such as apple ravioli, mini Black Forest gateau, and lime and ginger creme brulee.

A big plus for the Southside
We ate at Focus on Friday night, had high hopes that finally a decent restaurant had arrived in Springwood. We were definitely not disappointed. Warmly greeted upon arrival and great service did not stop all night. It was obvious that some of the wait staff were new but they did not ruin it with egos or by avoiding us and it seemed like they were given a go rather than being yelled at or put down by the manager as I have seen in other restaurants - not good!! The food was sensational and a great balance of flavours, the menu looked great and the food tasted just as good as the menu and certainly rivalled any city restaurant. Highly recommend giving it a try. We will be back!
