Dinner with friends, food was amazing and wait staff were very attentive.
The restaurant was heaving and totally packed in the outside bar area, think because of the location and because it was summer.
yellow fin tuna is a stand out dish so was the chilli mud crab. those chips, couldn't get enough, never thought I'd be ordering chips in a fine dining restaurant but they were so tasty.

Dinner at Flying Fish
Our booking was for a quiet Sunday night - on arrival we were invited to relax with a drink on the outdoor lounges prior to moving to our table which faced east with spectacular views across the harbour and the city. The menu was well thought out, and the wine list extensive. The food arrived promptly (as you'd expect on a quiet evening) and was perfectly cooked. The waiters impressed with both their knowledge of the wine list and the menu, as well as with their friendly nature. The large restaurant isn't really an intimate setting, but is nicely designed and welcoming none the less. I would definitely return to Flying Fish- probably to sample their all encompassing degustation menu.

Mother's Day
The food was great, but with poor service leaving a bad taste in my mouth, I won't go back. At $100 per head for food, it was a disappointing experience.
