Flouch's
The newest venture of chef Michael Flouch, previously of Lynch's and also of his own two restaurants in Mount Eliza and Armadale, both also named Flouch's (a purist when it comes to restaurant names, clearly), this is a sophisticated addition to Kyneton's trendy Piper Street. The menu is contemporary with French influences, and the setup - all dark bentwood chairs and hanging pendant lighting, in the style of a French bistro - is just as stylish, though it's also accessible and warm. An all-day breakfast menu makes for an even more welcoming, relaxed impression, as does the open kitchen. The lemon tart, Flouch's speciality, is a must-try according to locals who've already adopted this places as their own.
