A warm and welcoming suburban restaurant, Flame Greek Tavern promises a hearty Greek feast prepared fresh, whether you're having a spit roast straight from the hot charcoal grill, or a classic moussaka drawn from traditional recipes. The entrees showcase the best of Greek titbits, like barbecued octopus, saganaki, and whitebait, while the mains include specialties like cabbage rolls, flame prawns, and souvlaki skewers. The mixed grill and seafood platters provide a smorgasbord of authentic foods to satiate the most avid appetites.

Flame Greek Tavery:It's honest, friendly and good
O.K., it's suburban, but the tablecloths, cutlery, crockery and glassware are spotless and changed for each customer, the staff is friendly and competent. The food is uncomplicated, honest, authentic and of a high standard. This is the third time we've been there in the past four weeks, and we'll go back again and again to work our way through the menu and to try the specials.
Sophie, the hard-working proprietor is a gem. She has trained her staff well.
