Whether you are after a casual breakfast, a gourmet lunch or a sumptuous dinner, Finz caters for all. In the formal dining area upstairs - complete with panoramic views of the local bay, dark timber floors and crisp, white linen - patrons are served a selection of fresh seafood, including hot and cold oyster dishes, ocean trout, snapper and crispy-skinned barramundi. A platter of barbecued Moreton Bay bugs served on a tomato and herb risotto is one of the more unique dishes and will set you back $36.90. The downstairs area is clean and simple in design, and specialises in gourmet seafood breakfasts - including a tasty tiger prawn frittata with roasted vegetables and red capsicum chutney. For good value, opt for the $9.50 smoked salmon, cream cheese and caper omelette.

dirty dishes
Entree of lobster bisque had a hair in it. Waiter took it away and by the time it arrived back, the crouton was so soggy, it showed that the dish had not been replaced at all but the hair just picked out. Waiting staff were a little too formal, never really offering you service apart from the few rehearsed lines they had. My drink was never offered refilling and I asked for a refill before dessert was served. All the dishes had very bad soap residue and fingerprints all over them. Food was pretty overpriced for what it was. Our dinner was $200. Pricey for what it was. Overall not recommended.

Great everything
Had a lovely romantic dinner upstairs at Finz. Food was fantastic, the wine was fantastic, the view was great. The only (small) things were the music (would have been nice to be able to actually hear the nice jazz they had on, especially as it was a bit of a quiet night) and the abrupt waiter who was good at his job, but a bit... abrupt. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, definitely recommend it!
