Balmain locals may be familiar with Finola Healy's simple, hearty fare from the Welcome hotel in Rozelle. Finola's Restaurant is her very own venture, and she brings to it some old favourites from her past, such as her beef and stout pie. The restaurant is located in the Balmain bowling club, and looks out on the greens, allowing you to engage in enthusiastic Crackerjack-esque spectatorship (no heckling please), while you enjoy your scotch fillet with chives and onion rings.

Excellent food without the fuss
Everything on the menu is great, it's so hard to go past Finola's beef-and-stout pie, but then everything else is so good. Counter service and club-priced drinks make this an excellent, no-fuss place to eat - bowling or not bowling.
