Great pub grub
This pub is known for its wide range of beers on tap but in my opinion it should also be known for its great food. The food here is really very good and it's consistent which can't be said about all pubs on a busy weekend night. They are known for their steaks (which are very tender and always cooked to perfection) but I can also recommend the steak and stout pie and the bangers and mash if you're in the mood for some traditional Irish fare. It gets very busy on weekend nights so it is a good idea to book...

Pretty good service considering the crowd!
My boyfriend and I went on a busy Friday night and found it really hard to get a table. This is due to the fact that Fibbers is a pub first, restaurant second. However in saying that, the food is much better than normal pub food! I would seriously recommend booking a table if you plan to come in Thursday-Saturday nights.

The place is rarely vacant and has recently had a huge facelift (coat of paint, new dining tables, new decor in general) which I'm not a big fan of mainly because it has lost its unique-ness, once had resembling a Temple-Bar pub. I do love how they actually hire Irish people behind the bar! The service is good.

In my opinion Fibbers is known for its steak and stout pies which are hearty and reminiscent of Irish roots (especially with the side of Colcannon to boot). However this particular night we both had specials, I had salmon and he had beef. Both were spectacular! The beef was actually tasty and cooked correctly (actually got a medium rare!). The specials were more pricey at $30ish each but the standard menu mains are between $18-27. All servings are huge, with lots of veggies!
