What more can we say! By far the best restaurant in the district and comparable to most of the top SEQ restaurants. Quality of the food is consistently first class and the staff as good as any in the game. Only downer is the seating that can get a little uncomfortable after a while but if that is the only problem going back is an easy decision.

We have been dining at Fenton's for the past 8 years or so. Over this time we have eaten some fantastic meals, and received some excellent service. We always go to Fenton's for all of our family's special occasions. For our 20th wedding anniversary my husband surprised me with a specially designed menu of all of my favourite menu items from past menus. Lisa (co-owner Fenton's wife) had a huge bunch of roses waiting on our table for me along with a bottle of my favourite wine. I was told that I would have to be patient when it came to my food choices (i was not given a menu). For entree I had Beef Carpaccio, Main was Soft Shell Crab. I was unable to fit dessert in, so Fenton packed up a special dessert for us to take home ( Chocolate Indulgence). We all can't praise the food enough, we have introduced many friends and family to the Fenton's experience over the years and will continue to do so for a long time to come. The waiters and waitresses always make us feel very welcome and give awesome service. The only negative comment I could make about Fenton's is that the decor could do with an upgrade to bring it into the 21st century and the chairs aren't the most comfortable. Do yourself a favour drop in one night for dinner. You'll love it and you will definately go back.

Anniversary Dinner
We went to Fentons last night the 10/08/10 for our Anniversary,I had read numerous reviews some good and some bad so I wasnt sure what to expect. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement, the staff were excellent, providing promt and friendly assistance and knowledgable enough to answer any questions we had re the menu. The food was devine and by no means inadequate as mentioned in other reviews,we arrived very hungry and left full. The menu pricing was on the expensive side but well and truly justified with taste and quality.Do yourself a favour and eat there,if your meal is half as good as ours you will still enjoy yourself. We have tried most of the restaurants in the area and this is the best!

Thursday night meal
We went here with some work mates, having heard great things about the amazing Fentons. It WAS in the middle of June and a pretty chilly night, so in terms of atmosphere it was cold in the restaurant, the ladies never took off their coats to give you the gist. For entree I had the pumpkin soup - with super crunchy/hard toast. ummm it was just ok. The salmon was to die for (mains) the amazing crunchy skin that was salty and oh so good!!! Dessert for me was a selection of chocolate desserts, mousse, cake, while choc ice cream or something....the diners I ate with enjoyed the duck, and steak, although apparently if Fenton is there its sometimes a better quality meal (i wouldnt know as this was my first time) The service was great.
it is a very good restaurant, just for me if I'm paying well into the $30 mark for dinner and then paying $$ more for a bowl of vegetables, I probably would prefer not to have paper on the table as a dressing, and the actual chairs/tables seemed more inline with a casual cafe. i kid of expected the damask linen and heavy solid furnishings. I'd be back again but at the high end of most people's budget it wouldnt be a regular evening....Im glad I've gone there now thats for sure!

Dinner
I have dined at this restaurant 3 times over the last year and I must say that everytime has been nothing but excellent in both food and service. It has a nice little arcade with a country knick-knack store and has a nice atmosphere, but could use a bit of light music, but that just being over-critical. Excellent, will be back again and again.
