Billing yourself as "the best pub in New South Wales" is a pretty big call, and may even seem a little cocky. But this corker of a country pub backs up the claim with its refurbished 1901 building, great front bar, relaxed country atmosphere with live music and this restaurant, serving up contemporary pub grub with a focus on fresh seafood. The menu, designed by chef Josh Beddows, includes plenty of seafood specialties as well as weekly specials like the famous Credit Crunch Lunch menu and the schnitzel and schooner deals on Monday nights. Is this the best pub in the state? With meals like these, quite possibly.
