Fatboy's serves what may be the best hangover-curing breakfast in Brisbane. Slip gently into a seat and let the healing begin with a massive plate of eggs, bacon, chips, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and more. Aside from this heaving plate of morning-after-the-night-before restoratives, Fatboy's offers smaller breakfasts, pizzas and pastas, daily specials and small plates of nibbles. Fatboy's alter-ego is Ric's Bar - hence the all-encompassing 'Fatrics' moniker by which it is sometimes known. When Fortitude Valley's sociable locals aren't scoffing pizza at the pavement tables, they are often seen perched on a bar stool at Ric's, watching a band and planning the next morning's Fatrics brekkie. They don't necessarily have to wait very long to satisfy their cravings, as Fatboy's is open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
