Migrating west from Crows Nest, owner/chef and Dutch ex-pat Peter Meijer has brought his Fare Nosh to Summer Hill. Part relaxed eatery and part fine diner, Fare Nosh offers an abundance of seafood dishes - including an enormous seafood antipasto platter, which serves as a brilliant starter for a group. The rest of the menu has some solid mod-Oz offerings, from confit duck on mint risotto to pork fillet stuffed with ginger, chestnut and garlic. The bread rolls are made daily on-site, as are the desserts.

Some great Nosh
I was taken by absolute surprise, small restaurant great atmosphere, greeted at the door and seated straight away. The waiting staff were brilliant extremely knowledgable and very friendly. The food was absolutely divine. The ingredients were so fresh you can taste every ingredient in each of the meals. I loved everything from the crostinis to the seafood antipasto platter - which by the way is a must. The mains were excellent and the desserts to die for. We managed to fit it all in. I have to thank the chef and the staff for one of the best dining experiences I have had in years. A hidden treasure in Summer Hill - A must eat, can't wait to go back.
