You may assume this diner, housed in a country club on the lower north shore, is an uptight affair replete with stiff service and stiffer prices, but Fairway 9 is as much a family meal destination as it is a relaxed space to unwind with a drink and dinner after a round of golf. Cheap and cheery Thai is the order of the day, giving the menu a pleasing mix of comfort, taste and value.
