Era Cafe completes the one-stop entertainment shop that is the Era complex in South Brisbane, filling the casual dining niche. The space is bright and breezy with a 10-metre high ceiling, light colours and clean, simple decor. While the menu purports to be cafe-casual, executive chef Andrew Budgen's fine-dining stamp is still visible. Common cafe fare of soggy sarnies and lamingtons makes way for gourmet panini and upmarket mains. Indulge in such dishes as a wagyu steak sandwich; honey-roasted quail with spinach and ricotta ravioli; or bouillabaisse.

Perfection
Perfection is all I can say about the dining experience at Era Cafe. I discovered the restaurant in late November and have returned 6 times for the breakfast. My favourite dish - Portabello mushrooms with blue cheese and polenta. Perfect portions, perfect taste.
And the service: exquisite and always with a smile! How can you not return to beautiful coffee, friendly service and a perfect meal? I can NEVER say no to Era Cafe. Keep it up!
